Kentucky September 11th Memorial

As a tribute to the victims of 9/11, this beautiful monument is comprised of a 16 foot beam from the World Trade Center, mounted atop a 6 foot granite column, together towering 22 feet and weighing over 9 tons.  

The back wall is constructed of limestone blocks recovered from the Pentagon after the attack.  To each side there are black granite walls containing images of that fateful day as well as names of Kentucky service members that gave their lives overseas in the war against terrorism.   Located at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
