Tioga Falls Hiking Trail

A Unique Combination of Natural Beauty & 19th Century History

The trail was developed to share an area with a unique combination of natural beauty and nineteenth century history.  The trail lies in an area of Fort Knox used for military training and as a result is sometimes closed to hikers.

The trail may also be closed to hikers during some hunting seasons.  Visitors using the Tioga Trail are required to strictly follow the posted regulations outlined on the site and below.  Signs are conspicuously posted during times the trail is closed.

This two-mile walking trail is rough and steep, so use caution and hike at your own risk. Numerous injuries have occurred from trespassers/hikers climbing on the falls and not staying on the designated trail.
