The installation’s long-standing tradition of opening the post’s 121 cemeteries to the public annually was rescheduled from May 2024 to September 1,2024 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, it was postponed in May due to inclement weather. Fort Knox will open several access points around the installation perimeter, welcoming visitors who wish to pay respects

Fort Knox Freedom Fest ’24 will have food, inflatables, live music and more fun than you can handle. There will be a military salute to the nation at 9 p.m. and fireworks at 10:00. This event is free to everyone and you are encouraged to bring your own chairs or blankets for seating to enjoy
